About Melissa Auzine
Melissa is focusing on more complex cases that often require litigation. “It gives me more of a chance to work behind the scenes and help clients in some very difficult situations,” she added. In one of her most memorable cases, Melissa represented the victim in trucking accident case tried in federal court – very unusual. Up against a big trucking company with 3 attorneys, she turned an initial offer of $0 into a six-figure settlement for her client.
Clients appreciate Melissa’s easy-going approach when working with them. “I’m not one of those pushy, aggressive attorneys,” Melissa said. “I’m approachable and more polite than some, but I definitely get my way!”
When she’s not practicing law, Melissa can be found running 5K races and hiking in the north Georgia Mountains. She actively participates in events that support the Atlanta Wild Animal Rescue Effort (AWARE). Melissa has played flute since the 5th grade, including playing piccolo in the LSU marching band, and still enjoys playing today. Melissa is an avid fan of LSU sports, as well as the New Orleans Saints.
